One thing i love doing....

No it's not what you think it is, get your mind out of the gutter.

It's actually knitting. I love knitting and i love buying yarn. I have endless amounts of yarn and i have an addiction. I need to stop hitting stores that sell yarn as i can't help but buy it. I was told recently a friend of mine is pregnant and since i'll be seeing her soon i figured i'd make her something home made. So i started simple, with booties. Baby booties that is and then next is the hat. I used a Pattern that can be found at www.bernat.com It's such an easy pattern, you are pretty much doing a Garter Stitch through the whole thing. I added the green myself as an added decoration as the baby hat will be green since i ran out of the Ivory.

Muse! Muse! Muse!

Mon Mar 8th i was in Toronto seeing an amazing band called Muse! Their music is amazing but i didn't know what to expect on the live show. Well needless to say, i was blown away. My feet were so soar by the end of the night from dancing so much! My friend Jen brought her camera and took some amazing shots of Muse during the show. I thought i'd share our experience and post some of the pictures. I get the pleasure of heading to Detroit this coming Sat to see them again! :D

Celebrity Apprentice....seriously????

So when the Apprentice started years ago, i was a fan! The idea of competing was cool, especially since you get to be creative at the challenges. Then came the Celebrity Apprentice which was ok, not great but i still watched it once in awhile. Yet Donald is still running the Celebrity apprentice. Am i going to watch it, probably not.

Here is the lineup for the new Celebrity Apprentice:

Brett Michaels - Will he find love with one of the ladies? I say he'll hit on either Maria or Selita!

Carol Leifer - I have never heard of her, but apparently she's a writer/comedian

Cindy Lauper - hmm, she may bring some entertaining value to the show

Curtis Stone - A celebrity chef who will obviously cook his way through the challenges.

Darryl Strawberry - A baseball player who is retired????

Bill Goldberg - He kind of scares me.....

Holy Robinson Peete - I haven't seen her on TV in years, this could be her big break!

Maria Kanellis - Seriously, who is she?

Michael Johnson - An athlete (sprinter), i guess he'll be running on some of the challenges.

Rod Blagojevich - Former governor of Illinois, is he even famous? Unless he's had a million affairs???

Selita Ebanks - Victoria Secret Angel, you know she'll be used on any of the sexy campaigns.

Sharon Osbourne - Very outspoken i could see her getting into a number of fights with her teammates

Sinbad - Seriously, he's still around?

Summer Sanders - Another athlete for the show

R u serious......

So i'm a big Bachelor/Bachlorette watcher but after last night's final Rose i think i'm done watching it. How come it's always the nice girls or guys that get the short end of the stick. I had high hopes for Jake in the beginning, he was super sweet when he was on the Bachelorette with Jillian. He had some of the most beautiful women on the show and he ended up picking Vienna. I'm sure she's a nice girl, but she seriously needs a reality check and a bit more maturity on her. She is a complete daddy's girl who can do no wrong. Um, unfortunetly that is not how the real world works. I hope they prove people wrong and make it last.

MMMMM Coffee.....

Every morning i must, no i need my coffee. My existence does not start until i've had my first cup of coffee. Yes i am addicted and i can admit that. This morning i pull up to Tim Horton's and order my extra large (normally it's a large but i needed something bigger this morning) and to my surprise they are doing their Annual Roll Up the Rim! I am very excited for this even if i only win a free donut. I'd take a donut anyday!
